The Role

Reporting to the Service Desk Manager you will have the opportunity and be responsible for the full management of an existing Retail focused IT L1 Service Desk. This position will be responsible for the line management of the Level 1 Analysts and be key to ensuring that our customers’ expectations are met.

The successful candidate will oversee the day to day management of staff and associated functional processes of a busy application and database service desk. You will be passionate about service excellence and will lead by example to encourage your staff to go the extra mile

Your Background

  • Service Desk experience in a Managed Service environment
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Organised with the ability to work calmly under pressure, multi task and prioritise
  • Able to lead and motivate a highly productive Service Desk team in a pressurised environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Retail / EPOS solutions experience highly desirable
