Senior Product Manager

Location: Abingdon

The Opportunity 

Working within the Product Solution Team, the new role of Product Manager will lead the UK based team of Product analysts, ensuring that PMC solutions are delivered into life. You will:

  • Develop and implement a robust development process
  • Ensure product deliverables are correctly scoped, planned & executed
  • Accurate costing to execute product requirements
  • Work with the Product Delivery Team to ensure live projects are on track
  • Ensure deliverables are the right quality & right cost at the in line with the timeframe
  • Work alongside the Tech Services Manager, Head of Solutions and the Testing Team
  • Contribute to both internal and customer development projects
  • Ensure your team is resourced and equipped with the correct levels of skills
  • Line manage the Product Delivery Team
  • Ensure applications are developed and deployed securely
  • Develop and maintain effective relationship with key stakeholders
  • Ensure there is an effective release management process in place

About you

You will have a good understanding of the core technology platforms that underpin PMC’s product deliverables, experience of designing, developing and implanting new processes/frameworks and methodologies. Due to the nature of this role you will have strong leadership skills and experience of working in an Agile environment.

You will also need to utilise your experience to plan and execute the delivery of software projects and have awareness of development, security and web standards.
