'DevOps'

DevOps (Development and Operations) is a set of practices and tools that combine software development and IT operations. It is designed to increase the ability of an organization to deliver high-quality softwares faster by shortening the system development life cycle.

Complimentary to Agile software development, DevOps signifies a cultural shift to bridge the traditional gap between development and operations teams. DevOps lifecycle consists of six phases symbolizing various aspects of both the development and operations and calls for constant collaboration and communication to maintain alignment, velocity, and quality.
