The Role

Our Professional Services division within PMC has experienced significant growth over the past few years. In order to continue this growth, we are introducing the role of Resource Manager specifically to cover the team in the UK. The role of Resource Manager will report directly into the Head of Planning & Resources and will provide valuable input in helping PMC to continue to evolve.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the line management of up to 30 team members. You will ensure clear objectives are set and encourage ways to improve and maintain employee engagement. Other duties will include coaching, mentoring, recruitment, resource planning and overseeing our apprentice / graduate programs at department level.

Requirements (example below): 

  • Experience of leading teams, with strong skills in the coaching and development of employees
  • Experience with IT services and delivery management, and a good understanding of the roles that team members are undertaking
  • Experience of recruitment / selection process
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good understanding of the drivers of motivation and engagement, with experience of making changes that improve motivation levels of teams
  • Good cultural awareness, with a track record of acting as a role model and advocate of the company culture
