Retail technology specialist PMC and Europe's number one POS printer manufacturer Epson today announced a technology partnership aimed at delivering mobile solutions for retailers that truly enhance the in store customer experience.

PMC and Epson have collaborated so that PMC's recently announced Store Enabler mobile solution integrates with Epson's TM-Intelligent family of printers. Store Enabler allows retailers to leverage their existing systems and deliver them in store on any Android or iOS mobile device, with full capabilities to scan products, print receipts and take secure mobile payments where required.

Paul Mason, CEO of PMC states: "We are delighted to be working with Epson. We wanted to make sure that Store Enabler launched with "out of the box" integration to class-leading fixed and portable printing solutions. Epson has tremendous experience in the retail sector with a range of innovative solutions, so they were the obvious choice for a launch partner."

Epson's TM-Intelligent range of printers are specifically designed for web-based environments making them an ideal solution for retailers using mobile operating systems. Helping to streamline operations, they can control peripherals including scanners, customer displays and cash drawers all through a mobile device without the need for additional drivers.
