Come and meet PMC at Retail Tomorrow 2020
Abingdon, U.K – 13th February 2020 PMC is pleased to announce that we are attending the Retail Tomorrow event on the 5th & 6th March 2020. Hosted by McDonald Butler, Retail Tomorrow is in it’s fourth year, bringing together retailers, technology providers and consultants in a forum dedicated to making change happen.
According to McDonald Butler, this year’s conference will host over 60 delegates from some of the UK’s top retailers. Bringing together senior retail leaders with technology providers, focusing on the practicalities of getting the right technology in place to make retailer visions a reality.
How Retailers can Overcome Cost Constraints and Improve Business Performance
The overnight event consists of Keynote presentations and interactive workshop presentation sessions, giving attendees an insightful overview of the impact technology is having on our industry. PMC will be presenting to delegates in an innovative ‘Dragon’s Den’ style session providing insight on how Retailers can improve the effectiveness and cost efficiency of their IT systems and infrastructure. As an independent Technology Services Provider, PMC will present the benefits for Retailers of access to flexible resources and agile teams to deliver IT projects and supplement in-house teams.
Taking a close look at the challenges for Retailers operating internal IT support teams, PMC will examine the need to ensure uninterrupted service and how to overcome internal cost constraints. By outsourcing IT support and the Service Desk function, retailers can improve service levels, regain control of service predictability and cost of delivery. Not only does an outsourcing model enable businesses to convert fixed IT cost into variable costs, but by handing over the burden of maintaining a multi-skilled IT team, retailers can retain focus on their core business.
As a co-located business in the UK and India, PMC can uniquely offer a blended location annuity service, with full scalability to quickly implement new technology and deliver transformation or restructuring, without impacting the service provision. Retailers will come away from the ‘Dragon’s Den’ session with an understanding of how to improve IT service delivery and reduce the number of incidents, thereby increasing systems uptime and business performance.
