Review of the Autumn Duathlon for Adoption UK

This autumn, members of PMC completed cycling and running challenges to raise funds and awareness for Adoption UK.

Six riders from PMC and friends completed the first part of the Autumn Duathlon by cycling to the Isle of Wight, all the way around the Isle, and then back to our Abingdon offices. Each day was over 70 miles of riding, and the middle day was particularly challenging thanks to the sheer amount of hills. Many lessons were learned, including the need to buy puncture proof tyres and having a support vehicle is always a good thing!

Nine PMC-ers and friends took part in the Oxford Half Marathon on the 9th October 2016 which completed the Autumn Duathlon. The team, a split between seasoned half-marathoners and first timers, all did fantastically well getting great finish times.

So far we've raised over £1,700 for Adoption UK, with offline donations yet to be included.
