The Role

As part of a growing retail project delivery team, your responsibility will be to lead and manage the delivery of small-scale project assignments to PMC clients, managing task, resources, and budgets. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Project and Senior Project Managers to gain experience in larger scale and more complex projects so that you can progress you career with us. This is an excellent role for someone looking to further their career in Project Management or move into Project Management from a role with a transferrable skillset.


  • Ownership and management of small-scale client projects from inception to completion or for stages within the project lifecycle on time, to appropriate quality and within budget including all aspects of related communication.
  • Comply with and contribute to the development of the PMC project/programme management methodology and project governance approach.
  • Project Management responsibility can be for the delivery of one or for multiple single thread projects, or for the delivery of a multi-thread change programme.
  • Junior Project Managers may have the opportunity to support the Project Managers with delivery of medium scale, complex client projects.
  • Ensuring that all financial controls of projects are executed, including budgeting and forecasting, change control, purchase orders, statements of work, time recording, invoicing and invoice chasing etc.
  • To identify and agree resource requirements to deliver the Client Assignment. Working with PMC line manager and Client representatives to resource the assignment appropriately.
  • Direct or indirect management of resource from all areas of the client business to ensure successful project completion.
  • Working closely with clients and PMC Management to overcome risks and issues and to address conflicts of priority.
  • To build and maintain good working relationships with Client, vendors, other 3rd parties and PMC resources at all levels.
  • Ensure assigned work passes client and PMC internal standards.
  • Support PMC Business Development activity by spotting and sharing opportunities for future business with account sponsors
