IT PMO Coordinator/Manager

Location: Vadodara

The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in a strategic IT infrastructure transformation programme, which is now entering its second phase. Reporting ultimately to the Programme Director, they will assist with the programme from start to completion and be responsible for coordinating and managing key project management office documents across various project streams and with key suppliers.

The programme’s main aim is the upgrade of all legacy IT operating systems, applications and databases that are out of vendor support, to enable our system landscape to enter and activate a new managed data centre service model with our supplier.

Requirements

  • The proven track record for planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in managing PMO duties in a large change program.
  • Experience in project management using AGILE or PRINCE2 methodology (or equivalent) for medium to large-sized IT projects
  • Demonstrable strong skills in creating and maintaining project and programme plans, including risks, actions, issues, dependencies
  • Demonstrable success in influencing stakeholders to manage conflicting requirements, demands, and priorities.
  • Experience and understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Understanding of the importance of risk mitigation and the management of risks across complex change programmes.
  • Experience in document management.
  • Skilled at using MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in using project management portfolio tools (the programme uses Planview - the experience of this tool would be very desirable).
  • Experience in using the Google suite of business applications is desirable.
