Cloud Ops Manager

The Role

As Cloud Ops Manager, you will lead our new Cloud Ops team forward, adopting and evolving the procedures and structures required within PMC’s Cloud Ops practice. This role will work closely with our new Cloud Ops Team, the Technical Product Manager and PMC’s Head of Solutions to carry forward the establish Cloud Ops practices in the company.

You will be leading the team and will help automate our infrastructure, implement and evolve continuous integration, and help train the team in DevOps best practices to achieve a continuously deployable system. 

You will help the team respond to customer generated issues raised to the Cloud Ops team via the Service Desk and work collaboratively to find resolutions for the customer.


  • Work experience as a senior Cloud Ops or DevOps Engineer
  • Experience in team management
  • Extensive knowledge of Cloud best practices and procedures with a strong emphasis on support
  • Experience with Cloud and Cloud Ops Support as a Managed Service would be highly desirable.
  • Experience with NoSQL based database solutions and one of the query languages.
  • Holding one or more of the following AWS qualifications:
    • AWS Cloud Practitioner
    • AWS SysOps Administrator
    • AWS DevOps Engineer
    • AWS Advanced Networking
