Cloud Ops Analyst

Location: Vadodara

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Ops Analyst that will help our team establish a Cloud Ops practice. As part of a team, you will work closely with the Cloud Ops Team Lead and Technical Product Manager to identify and establish Cloud Ops practices in the company. 

You will establish configuration management, automate our infrastructure, implement continuous integration, and train the team in DevOps best practices to achieve a continuously deployable system. You will respond to customer generated issues raised to the Cloud Ops team via the Service Desk and work collaboratively to find resolutions for the customer. 

As the Cloud Ops Analyst, you will support the build of functional systems that improve customer experience and support their transition to the live environment. Cloud Ops Analyst responsibilities include monitoring product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. 

You will help us build scalable, efficient cloud infrastructure. You will implement monitoring for automated system health checks. Ultimately, you will execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately, and securely. You will be involved in implementing observability into the company to ensure real time resolution and pre-emptive identification of issues.

Requirements

  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills
  • In depth knowledge of a NoSQL based database solution and one of the query languages
  • AWS qualifications including, as a minimum AWS fundamental plus one of the below AWS qualifications is desirable
  • Holding one of the following AWS qualifications, or working towards them
    • AWS Cloud Practitioner
    • AWS SysOps Administrator
    • AWS DevOps Engineer
    • AWS Advanced Networking
  • This team will work a shift pattern covering core UK retail hours, potentially inclusive of weekends, as well as taking part in an on-call rota, to support anything outside core working hours – this will be subject to change based on business requirements.
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
